German TV Launches Special Programs During Ramadan

German TV channel RTL2 this Tuesday (11 / 8) launched a special service for an audience of Muslims during Ramadan, giving them information about when to begin and end each day of fasting.

"You can theorize that you like about integration, but we want to send a clear signal," said Carsten Molings, head of marketing at RTL2 channel TV, in a statement.

"RTL2 create programs for all people and followers of all religions. Just like every year we reflect on Christmas and Easter in our program, we want to do the same thing for the month of Ramadan," said Molings.
